Carmine always brought a smile to my face as we raised our kids in denville. A great guy, and always had nice words about my kids. The world’s a smaller place without him. One of the days when he was doing work at my denville house it happened to be prom night for Knolls. I showed this pic at my sons wedding. RIP Carmine, and condolences to his fam

So sorry to hear about Carmine. We were great friends for many years. I last saw him enjoying a fine cigar at JR Cigars in Whippany. We had a lot of laughs together hanging out in Madison. He was a great guy, and even a better friend. I will miss you Carmine. Sending my condolences to the Prisco family.

Mr. Prisco was also one of my coaches when I played for the Blue Angels, he was a great coach & Dad. I will never forget the time we held a superior team to a 0-0 tie and Mr. Prisco was so proud he treated us all to ice cream. He and his generosity will truly be missed.

I always enjoyed and appreciated Mr. Prisco’s presence and unique sense of humor throughout the years. My fondest memory was in high school when my father and him would drive our basketball team from morris catholic to FDU in Teaneck. Between my dads van and his new truck at the time, the two of them were able to transport Robbie, myself and the whole team. He never missed a game. One particular nigh we played against Bergen Catholic, and I probably played the best game of my life. Immediately after the game, Mr. Prisco came up to me and said “Not for nothing, whatever you ate for dinner before the game, be sure to keep it coming, that was a hell of a game”. Ever since then I have made a point to eat a roast beef sub before every big game I played in or coached.
Carmine, Robbie and Jason I am truly sorry for your loss. I have many wonderful memories of your father. He was one of a kind and a pleasure to be around.

Carmine was my football coach when I played youth football in Denville back in the 90's. I remember him being very caring and giving to all of us and being a very supportive father to his kids. I am sorry to hear of his passing and I keep his family in my thoughts and hope they can find peace in their loss.

Carmine Prisco was good friend of mine and we spent many years coaching basketball in Denville. We coached against each other in the early years but coached together in a travelling league when our boys came of age. He could be firey when coaching but gentle and encouraging if a player was upset or stressed. I enjoyed his company when we were coaching and always listened to his suggestions and advice. As head coach of his son Jason's basket team, Carmine won the Lakeland League championship 4 years running; no easy task as the league had 20 different towns from all across North Jersey. Carmine Jr, Robbie and Jason were all top notch athletes who made great contributions to their teams under their dad's coaching. Carm made many contributions to Denville sports facilities and was an ardent supporter of all kids sports in the town. Carm was also a fine mason and did some excellent work on my house in Denville when I needed a new set of front steps. Although I dont think they were together in recent years, Carm's wife Roberta was a warm and understanding lady and very supportive of all of Carm's teams through the years. Condolences to the family. The Jon Rudge family
