Obituary of Mary Ann Zazzara

Mary Ann Zazzara, of Chatham, passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the age of 81.

Born in Elizabeth on April 28, 1945, to the late Erwin Dueltgen and Margaret Rose Quandt, Mary Ann was introduced to her future husband, John Zazzara, through a family member at a party. They married on December 23, 1967, and spent 58 wonderful years together.

In addition to doing clerical work for Nabisco and Kraft Foods in East Hanover, Mary Ann ran the Mr. Quickly Instant Print Center in Union with her husband, John.

Mary Ann leaves behind her beloved husband, John Zazzara; her cherished son, Michael Zazzara; one brother, Major Dennis Karl Dueltgen, Ret. And his wife, Marilou; two treasured grandchildren, Lily and Cole Zazzara; as well as nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation for Mary Ann on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a 12:00 p.m. funeral service held at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison.

Interment will be held at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
