Obituary of Noelle Hajjar

Noelle Hajjar, of Berkeley Heights, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Overlook Medical Center in Summit at the age of 40.

Born on December 17, 1985, in Hackensack, Noelle was raised in Chatham and remained deeply connected to her family throughout her life. Her greatest joy came from caring for the people she loved.

Noelle found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She had a passion for vegetable gardening and growing beautiful flowers, loved jamming out to her favorite tunes, and enjoyed spending relaxing days at the beach. She especially loved celebrating the changing seasons, decorating her home for Christmas and Halloween with enthusiasm and creativity. An avid animal lover, she adored her beloved dogs, a pit bull and a Chihuahua, who brought her endless companionship. A true homebody, Noelle was known for her easygoing nature, wonderful sense of humor, contagious laugh, and treasured quiet moments spent with loved ones.

Above all else, Noelle’s family was the center of her world. Her warmth, gentle spirit, and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Hajjar.

She is survived by her loving mother, Aida Hajjar; her brothers, Naif Hajjar and Michael Hajjar and his wife, Meg; her beloved twin sister, Michelle Hajjar; her former husband, Ryan Brennan; her cherished niece and nephews, Neil, Luke, and Kit; as well as many dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Noelle’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be remembered for her love of nature and animals, her quiet strength, her infectious laughter, and the unwavering devotion she showed to her family every day.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation for Noelle to be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison, with a funeral service celebrated at 6:00 p.m.

Interment will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.
