Obituary of Carideaud D. Vignier
Carideaud D. Vignier, of Elizabeth, passed away peacefully at home on June 12, 2026, at the age of 94. His life was a testament to love, hard work, and dedication to family.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Vignier; his sisters, Marie Vignier Lemke & Edeline Vignier Walters; his children, Ernante Paul, Yvelline Vignier, Marise Vignier, Karine Vignier, Elmido Vignier, Nadege Verdier, Joseph Vignier, Nadege Vignier, Joseph Vignier, Yvon Vignier and family, Franz Vignier and family; his grandchildren, Mitzie Woolley, Marlene Vignier, Lashenda Beauharnais, Patrick Beauharnais, Alexsandra Beauchamps, Kevin Joseph, Cassendre Claivrain; his great-grandchildren, Liam, Lea, Ziara, Zariyah, Lyniece, Prince, Miyani, Stephan, Zhy'asiah, Ezra; his nieces and nephews, Carline, Desire, Rayne, Ema, Ishmael Donalson.
Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to the late Dutton and Leatica Vignier, Carideaud cherished the values of family and resilience instilled in him during his early years. He took great pride in achieving his American dream and becoming a U.S. citizen, showcasing his unwavering commitment to his new home.
Carideaud began his career as an auto mechanic, displaying a knack for precision and skill that later led him into the perfume industry. He excelled at Shulton Perfume Co., where he ultimately served as a manager before retiring. Throughout his life, he was dedicated to providing for his family, embodying a spirit of sacrifice and love.
Carideaud was a man of peace. He left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and hard work will continue through his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation for Carideaud on Sunday, July 12, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026, followed by interment at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
