Obituary of Manuella McAdams

Manuella “Dolly” McAdams (née Allocco), of Stirling, previously a lifelong Madison resident, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Wednesday,  May 6, 2026. She was 91.

Dolly is survived by her daughter, Donna Del Pezzo and her husband Ralph; two  granddaughters, Michelle Cervone and her husband Joe & Sandy Del Pezzo and her  husband Brian Sileno; four great-grandchildren, Damien, Fallyn, Declan and Brayden;  two sisters, Phyllis Amberg and Joan Finer; many loving nieces and nephews; and  many dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Dolly was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert  “Bob” McAdams in 2021; and her two brothers, Dominick Allocco and Frank Allocco.

Born in Madison to the late Frederick and Susan Allocco (née Artiglere), she was an  attendee Chatham High School. Dolly grew up in a close-knit Italian-American family  with her four siblings, where she was instilled with a strong work ethic and deep  Catholic faith that guided her throughout her life.

Dolly married the love of her life, Bob McAdams, on April 19, 1958, and together they  created a warm and loving home in Madison where they raised their daughter, Donna.  Known for her immaculate housekeeping, Dolly was a devoted mother, grandmother,  great-grandmother, wife, sister, and friend. She excelled in the kitchen, preparing  delicious meals and baked goods that made holidays truly special for her family.

An avid shopper and sun worshipper, Dolly enjoyed spending time outdoors, often  sunbathing in her yard. She also worked for many years at the Madison A&P in the  meat department, where her friendly demeanor and dedication to service endeared her  to many customers and colleagues alike.

Above all, Dolly will be remembered for her kind heart and the unwavering love she had  for her family, who were the center of her world. She will be deeply missed by all who  had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit and legacy will live on in the hearts of her  family and friends.

Dolly is now at peace, and her memory will be cherished forever.
