Today my heart is in pieces. My love, my partner, and my best friend has gone… and with him comes a deep longing for everything we lived through in these 7 years together, including 3 years and 8 months of marriage. I will keep forever in my heart the simple things we loved most — like having coffee together at Diners after appointments or procedures. Those moments were so ours, so full of love. We fought this illness together for 3 years. Sadly, it won… but he was a true hero. He was strong, he was brave, and I was by his side, witnessing every battle, every pain, and also every expression of love for the life he valued so deeply… and for us. He dreamed of going back to Brazil, of seeing everything he had achieved. He talked about it with everyone, his eyes shining… but there wasn’t enough time. He loved the beach, discovering new places, telling stories, and bringing friends along to share those experiences. He loved to talk, to take an interest in people, and to open our home with so much warmth — my friends became his friends too. Today, the pain is immense. I still don’t know what the next days will be like… but I choose to trust in God, who knows all things and sustains my heart even in the midst of pain. I am grateful for everything we lived. Thank you for loving my daughter as your own, for everything you did for me, and for choosing me to live this story by your side. Even with three languages, different cultures, and so many challenges, we made it — we built a true love. And I hold on to the hope that this is not a final goodbye… but a “see you soon.” I believe that, in God, one day we will meet again in eternity. I will always love you. Ralph’s Wife

We were heartbroken to hear about Ralph’s passing. When we first came to the United States, everything felt new and uncertain. Renting our first home from Ralph turned out to be so much more than just finding a place to live. From the very beginning, he welcomed us with kindness, patience, and understanding. He took the time to help us navigate things we didn’t yet understand and made us feel comfortable in a completely new environment. Ralph wasn’t just a landlord—he was someone who genuinely cared. His support and warmth meant more to us than we can fully express. Because of him, our first home here felt safe, steady, and truly like a place where we could begin our new chapter. We will always be grateful for his generosity and the way he treated us. He made a lasting impact on our lives, and he will be deeply missed. Our hearts go out to his family and loved ones. Today, I say goodbye to a great man an extraordinary presence in my life. Thank you for being the father I never knew I needed until I experienced your love. Thank you for every piece of advice, every gentle scolding, every time you waited for hours outside TJ Maxx and then asked, “What do you do in that store for so long?” Thank you for every panettone you knew I loved and always bought several just for me. Thank you for every act of care. They were all expressions of your love. I will always carry you with me and continue your legacy. You will never be forgotten. I already miss hearing you say “really” in that way that only you could. Thank you for everything. Thank you for loving me as your daughter. Thank you for being the father my heart needed. I was deeply saddened to hear about Ralph’s passing. He was one of the first landlords who trusted and supported me early in my career, and I will always be grateful for his encouragement. Beyond that, he was a truly kind and genuine person, always thoughtful and respectful in every interaction. He will be remembered fondly and missed dearly. So sorry to hear of the passing of Ralph. He was a great friend, neighbor, but most importantly a good man. So many fond memories of growing up next to the Pirro's on both Ridgedale and Lathrop Avenues. My condolences to Guy, Patty, Ann Marie, Jimmy and especially Joey on their loss.

We shared wonderful moments in the short time we had with Ralph. A fun person, full of positive energy, with a huge heart. What remain are the memories and the longing: the laughter in Brazil, the little train ride in Atlantic City that you enjoyed like a child, and our last get-together on New Year’s Eve at your home — such a light, joyful moment, full of laughter, watching celebrations from around the world on TV together. “Gordito,” we already miss you so much. I feel so grateful to have known Ralph. He welcomed me into his home for three months with so much kindness and generosity. He would pick me up from my classes every night at 10pm, and whenever he went to the grocery store, he would always bring back chocolate for me. He also loved taking me out to restaurants on the weekends. He truly cared about making me feel comfortable and happy. He also loved taking me on drives around New Jersey, showing me places that were meaningful to him, including where he had worked, and sharing his stories along the way. Ralph was such a kind and genuine person. He was always so thoughtful and made me feel truly welcome. Even after I moved, he would check in and always welcomed us so warmly. I will always remember his kindness and the way he made me feel at home. He will be deeply missed. My deepest condolences to the family !!

Andrea and family, my deepest condolences. Ralph was and will continue to be the first and best friend we had in the USA, always willing to help, he taught us so much with his experience and showed his altruism in every moment we were together. My heart is heavy with this loss, I grieve and cry remembering the moments we shared, but at the same time I thank God for having had the opportunity to have known Ralph A. Pirro. I leave this tribute to immortalize here the good man that Ralph was. All the movie nights, the games we watched together, the chess nights, shopping trips, walks in the mall, the feasts in restaurants and all the other moments together changed our lives and made us better people. Thank you Ralph A. Pirro, I will miss you eternally, Rest in peace my dear friend.

I was lucky to share some of Rauf’s better years; he was a lovely man and a truly simple soul. As Mansoor’s cousin who stayed with the family for weeks every year, I have so many fond memories. I’m deeply sorry I couldn't attend his final rites, but my prayers are with him and I send my deepest condolences to all his family and friends. May the Lord rest his soul
