Obituary of Rodolfo Ducos

Rodolfo Ducos, of Hopatcong, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2026. He was 64.

Rodolfo is survived by his wife, Margarita Albarran; one son, Blake Ducos and his wife Karina Rodriguez; two daughters, Neysa Lynn Sabater and her husband Will & Angelica Francisquini; one brother, Eric Ducos and his wife Cecibel; one sister, Grisette Ducos Rodriguez and her husband Alberto Rodriguez, seven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends who he cherished.

Rodolfo was born and raised in Bushwick, Brooklyn where he was raised with his brother and sister, and discovered a love for baseball that stayed with him throughout his life. He lived in New Jersey from 2001 to 2018, retired to New Port Richey, Florida, and recently moved back to New Jersey to be closer to his family. He had a long and respected career with Verizon in New York City, where colleagues admired his professionalism and warmth.

A devoted sports fan, Rodolfo loved the New York Mets and the New York Giants, and was fortunate enough to have witnessed the Mets’ historic 1986 World Series victory. He was a natural people person who thrived on bringing people together and was the life of the party. He loved to barbecue, to feed friends and family, and to host gatherings that created lasting memories. His sense of humor and optimistic outlook on life brightened every room he entered.

Rodolfo was a wonderful father, grandfather, and brother, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His warmth, humor, and generous spirit will be remembered by those whose lives he touched.
