All who knew, Shirley, Mom, Aunt Shirley, Mrs. Huntington or ‘Nana’, will remember, love and miss her forever. ‘Nana’ was surely one of a kind! Nana loved her six Grandsons and adored her three Great Grandchildren, Olive, Benjamin and Winnie. Over the years Robin and I talked of the importance of getting pictures of the ‘4 Generations’ including Nana, Robin, Grandson Michael, Daughter-in-Law Mandy, Grandsons Andrew and Jeffrey and Nana’s 3 Great Grandchildren’. My heart felt condolences to all of you. She was truly a magnificent woman. She loved talking about her beautiful girls, her strong and handsome grandsons, and her cute and adorable great grandchildren. She always spoke’s fondly of you all, of your father and always had her jokes to tell, or a story to tell where she got each one of her teddy bears. I will always remember our walks, our adventures and her always having to be back in her apartment at 12pm to watch days of our lives. Shirley truly was a kind hearted woman, always had a smile and would ask you how your day was. She loved showing me photos from her younger days. Her love for her family, community and how could i forget her love for snoopy, she was a wonderful friend, and an honorary “member of the family” to me. I know she is at peace and back home with your beloved dad and all her siblings and parents. My condolences to you all and know that i’m always thinking of you all.
