Obituary of Carol Robinson

Carol Robinson, a longtime resident of Madison, passed away on December 22, 2025. She was 83 years old.

Born on April 22, 1942, in Madison, Carol was the youngest of six children born to Augustus Price, Sr. and Lillian Thevon Price. She deeply cherished her role as the baby of the family and remained devoted to her siblings throughout her life, finding her greatest joy in being surrounded by family.

Carol’s life was defined by her selfless devotion as a mother. She dedicated herself entirely to the care of her beloved son, Howard Robinson, who lived with multiple sclerosis. Her strength, perseverance, and unconditional love were evident in every aspect of her caregiving, and she carried this responsibility with grace and quiet dignity.

She worked for many years as a clerk at Epstein’s Department Store in Morristown and later as a greeter at Walmart, where her warm smile and friendly presence were appreciated by customers and coworkers alike. Known for her independence and generosity, Carol was always social, kind, and welcoming to everyone she met.

A devoted cat lover, Carol also enjoyed going for walks, staying active, and taking pride in her appearance; she was always well dressed and carried herself with elegance. Her smile, positive spirit, and thoughtful nature left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved son Howard Robinson; her brother Augustus Price, Jr.; and her sisters Lorraine Jenwood, Catherine DeGraw, Gale Fernicola, and Betty Herbert.

She is survived by her many nieces, nephews, and dear friends, who will remember her with affection and gratitude for her kindness, resilience, and loving heart.

Services will be held privately for her family.
