Obituary of Daniel A. D'Andrea, Jr.

Daniel Anthony D’Andrea, Jr., of Blairstown, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the age of 66.

Daniel is survived by one brother, Joseph D’Andrea Sr. and his wife Katie of Morris Plains; one sister, Ellen Garretson and her husband Greg of Sun Lakes, AZ; his niece, Heather (Rob Corsetto); his nephew, Joseph Jr. (Kim); two great-nephews, Joseph III & Angelo; one great-niece, Giada; and several extended family members who loved him dearly.

He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Daniel A. D’Andrea, Sr. and Virginia M. D’Andrea.

Born on April 2, 1959, in Morristown, Daniel was raised initially in Madison on North Street before moving with his family to East Hanover. A proud graduate of Bayley-Ellard High School in Madison, he went on to build a long and dedicated career as a claims adjuster with several insurance companies across New Jersey.

Daniel was a devoted son who cared deeply for his beloved parents. He cherished family above all else and shared a special bond with his brother and sister.

An avid sports enthusiast, Daniel was a passionate fan of football, especially rooting for the Chicago Bears and the Florida State Seminoles, rarely missing a game. Beyond sports, he found joy in music, playing his guitar, and embraced the freedom of the open road on his Harley Davidson, exploring the countryside with a spirit of adventure.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory be a blessing.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation for Daniel to be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. immediately after the visitation at the funeral home.

Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
