I was very lucky to teach third grade with Aldona for many years at Torey J Sabatini elementary school. She would always tell me about her many trips and how she loved to travel. I send prayers to her loving family. It was an honor to teach with her. God rest your loving soul Aldona. Patti Barth

I met Aldona when she was substituting at Chatham Middle School and we quickly bonded over our love for science. Her kindness, humor, and contagious laugh touched everyone. She made staff and students feel valued and reminded us of the true rewards of education. My children also loved having her as a substitute and always admired her beautiful script handwriting. Aldona will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, joy, and beautiful spirit. May she rest in peace.

Mrs. Skrypa was my 3rd grade teacher at Torey J Sabatini in Madison, NJ, and she sparked my curiosity about the solar system and the age of the pilgrims. Years later, we reconnected on Facebook, and she would periodically check in on me—always kind and thoughtful. May she rest in peace. I have so many wonderful memories of her. ~Chrissy Barth

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Aldona. I met her whilst teaching in Chatham and she always had a fabulous story to share. She had such a kind way with children and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her. My favorite memory of Aldona was when my daughter was very young and she was at Morristown Memorial Hospital for an emergency appendectomy. She had had an awful night and I turned the Television on for a distraction. To my surprise and delight, Aldona's face shone back at us as she told a story and completely distracted my daughter from her pain. Aldona told me later that she volunteered at the hospital frequently. Such a kind soul! She will be missed.

I met Aldona at Chatham Middle School. She was an extremely intelligent, kind, caring, and classy woman who enjoyed sharing her stories of teaching elementary school students and working as a supervisor for future students. I enjoyed listening to all of her stories which demonstrated all of her love for her family and friends. She was a woman who would always try to give advice and lend a hand in any way she could. She will be truly missed by many people! Sending all my condolences and prayers to her family and friends during this difficult time! Nancy Winard.
