Knew Pete since kindergarten (through Cub Scouts (with his mom volunteering as our den mother), through Hanover Park HS. He was a class act, very sweet, always ready to help anyone. May he rest in peace.

I only knew Pete as PJmax on the DIY forum. As a fellow moderator, I always found his wealth of knowledge amazing and his willingness to help others on the forum second to none. His passing has left a hole that cannot be filled. Rest in peace, my friend.

Pete will be missed greatly by his fellow moderators and the staff on the DIY forums at doityourself.com. He was an avid contributor, interested in selflessly donating his time and experience to help others with technical and electrical issues. The spirit he showed is a testament to his generosity, skill, and ability. Please accept our sincere condolences.

Pete and I were friends for a short time during our high school years. I enjoyed helping him set up his sound system at several Florham Park Events. We'd load and unload his maroon red station wagon with large speakers, a soundboard, and yards of speaker wire. The Chiarolanzio household was always warm and welcoming. My thoughts and condolences to the Chiarolanzio family.

My heartfelt sympathy to Pete’s family. Since the beginning of Madison Christmas parade Pete brought joy to thousands of people with his Custom Sound Christmas music. He made sure that the event was a success with every sound he played . Always with a smile, a joy to have him part of Madison’s Christmas.

I have really fond memories of Peter when growing up together in Florham Park. I recall we all went to Bell Labs in Whipany for a free electronics seminar. It was a lot of fun. I ended up pursuing that as a career. My deepest sympathies to all of Peter's family.
