We are so saddened over John's passing, a dear friend for over 60 years, but grateful that we have so many fond memories to remember him by that will live on with us. All the great times we shared over the years from going to dances, to Bar-B-Q's,July 4th, New Years Eve, etc., will remain with us. He was truly a great fiend and it is difficult to now have to say good bye. We will deeply miss him and will salute him every time we have one of his signature Southern Comfort Manhattans ...and if there are Lionel trains up in Heaven, we are sure he will be sitting there at the controls. I have not read an obituary which so accurately describes a man. John was all that is contained therein and more. I knew John for about twenty five years and few people were as consistently pleasant to be with. I liked John and will miss him.
