Obituary of Linda J. Rosenberg

Linda Jill Rosenberg (née Lipitz), of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and formerly a longtime Millburn, New Jersey resident, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2025. She was 81.

She leaves behind her cherished son Mitch Rosenberg and his wife, Lila; two brothers Jan and Alan Lipitz; one sister, Laurie Lipitz; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband Michael Rosenberg on December 5, 2024, and two brothers Melvin and Barry Lipitz.

Linda was born on December 24, 1943, to the late Louis and Rachel Lipitz and was raised in Rochester, NY with her siblings. She met her husband, Michael, on a blind date while Michael was studying at RIT. The couple married on June 7, 1964, and settled first in Canton, Massachusetts, where they lived for 15 years before coming to Millburn in 1982.

Linda had a long career as a medical secretary, but her main focus was her family. She was very artistic and enjoyed drawing, watercolor painting, and etching. She also liked to read and had an impressive flower garden. She had a special love of orchids.

Her family will deeply miss her spirit, but they take comfort in knowing that she is at peace and reunited with her beloved husband.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the graveside service for Linda to be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Road, Elmont, NY 11003.
