Sorry to hear of Lou’s passing. He was a great guy. I had the pleasure of serving with him for six years in the National Guards. He will be missed by everyone that was fortunate enough to have met him. RIP Master Sergeant.

Lou and I met back in 1992. He took me under his wing showing me how to do things, and how to “get things done” in my new unit. We were like Mutt n Jeff, Abbott n Costello for many years to follow. He had so many stories, it seemed he never told the same one twice. And he knew “everybody” and certainly everybody knew him. I will miss him, but I know he is at peace (and probably making deals with St. Peter at the gate).

I first met Louie as a newly minter Second Lieutenant at the Morristown Armory. Lou schooled me in how to get stuff and also how to get stuff done. In the 30+ years to follow we served in the same units, Lou was always one of my 'go-to' guys that I could count on when something needed to get done. He will be missed but will live on in the memories of many, many soldiers. COL(ret) John Dwyer

I met Louie when I came to DISCOM in 1982. Worked with Louie over the years and was a real pistol. Great friend and mentor
