I was truly saddened to hear of Mr. Genoese’s passing. I had the privilege of being his mail carrier for the past couple of years, and he was always one of the kindest, most thoughtful customers on my route.
One moment that stands out to me was the last time I saw him. I had just delivered a piece of mail—a simple flyer. As I placed it in the box, a woman opened the door and said, “Joe would like to say hi.” I was so touched that he wanted to greet me. We had a brief but warm conversation, and I’ll always remember him saying, “It’s good to see people.”
That small gesture meant a lot to me. It reflected who he was—someone who valued connection, even in the simplest moments. I’ll carry that memory with me.
With deepest sympathy,
Ava Pryor

Dear Uncle Joey's entire family,
May you know that we loved your dad beyond words. He was so kind to myself and of course everyone. I have fond memories of seeing him on Sundays at dinner with grandma and grandpa and family picnics.
He always gad a smile on on lots of love to offer.
He will be missed by all that knew him and he will now be united with aunt Betsy and the rest of his family and friends. They will be waiting for him with open arms as the Lord excepts him into heaven.
All our love and condolences,
Mary Jo and Ed

With love and remembrance I send my deepest sympathy to my cousins, Denise, Val, Nick, Jodi, & Liz and the entire Genoese Family. I’ll always remember spending time at Uncle Joe and Aunt Betsy’s house in Madison playing Pokeno and watching home movies. What a wonderful couple and example they were for me growing up. I love them dearly and believe they are again united to watch over those of us left behind. In Christ's name, Amen.

I've known Joe since 2017, back when I used to care for his wife, Betty. When we first met, I automatically knew he was just a loving kind gentleman that always looked out for others. In an amazing turn of events, I ended up taking care of Joe, himself, until he took his last breath. My limited time with him reminded me of how his kindness spread to his beautiful daughters and family. They treated me wonderfully and I am forever appreciative for Genoese family.
