Julie was the first and best friend I made in Maplewood. We raised our children together, and walked, talked, biked, hiked, and swam, but more importantly, ate together! She was always a joy to be around, and even in the midst of her serious illness, was a compassionate, and supportive friend.
Julie was, till the end, cultivating her many talents, and she encouraged everyone she loved to do the same. She acted, and sang, she danced, and even took up painting —- all with zeal and complete commitment. Her exuberant and confident use of color was a reflection of that spirit!
She was also sincerely kind and gentle —- by nature a healer, and balm to the world. Julie’s spirit will be missed by everyone that knew her loving care and touch, and enjoyed her tremendous zest for life!
