Obituary of Mary F. Yocco
Mary Yocco (nee Fratarelli) passed away peacefully at Overlook Hospital on Friday, November 10, 2017, at the age of 90. Mary was born in Orsogna, Italy and was a long-time resident of New Providence.
Mary is survived by her two loving sons, Joseph Yocco of New Providence (Mary Lou) & Stephen Yocco of New Providence. She was also blessed with three grandchildren, Mia Coffing (Bryan), Michael Yocco & Christopher Yocco; and three cherished great-grandchildren, Caleb Coffing, Lucas Coffing & Eli Coffing. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Savino Yocco, as well as her sister, Domenica Giampiccolo and her brother, Anthony Fratarelli.
Mary had a career in sales with B. Altman & Company, a luxury department store in Short Hills, for many years before she retired. In her retirement, she was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time reading at the Madison & Summit Public Libraries. At age 90 she was up to date on most of the daily world and political news.
A funeral service for Mary will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison, followed by interment at St. Teresa's Cemetery, Summit. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 5:00PM to 8:00PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
