Obituary of VINCENT RAAB

Vincent C. Raab Army veteran, of Madison Vincent C. Raab, 83, of Madison, N.J., died on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Tuesday, July 7, at 9 a.m. from the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main St., Madison, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent Martyr Church, Madison. Interment is in Three Bridges Cemetery, Three Bridges, N.J. Visitation is on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Mr. Raab was born in Newark, N.J., and lived in Madison for the last 35 years. He worked for a bakery distribution company in Newark for many years before retiring. Vincent was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Helen (nee Deats), and is survived by his daughters, Nancy Russo and her husband, Ben, and Lynn DaCunha and her husband, Joseph; four loving grandchildren, Michael and his wife, Kate, Vincent and his wife, Daniella, Jon, Joseph and his wife, Kelley, and one dear great-granddaughter, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, donations to the in his memory would be appreciated.
